USC VPN Services. The College of Engineering and Computing now uses the USC VPN service. Since our college has moved behind its own firewall, some research labs and college resources may require special VPN access. Using Cisco AnyConnect VPN. To access the Remote Desktop/Terminal Server from outside of USC, you need to first run the Cisco AnyConnect VPN program to create a secure connection between your computer and USC.
